A seasoned General Counsel, Director and Company Secretary, she has demonstrated an ability to optimise profitability, introduce processes that increase customer satisfaction and revenue, reduce risk and improve efficiency. As CEO of Ethika Group, Ramona hopes to change professional services for the better and create positive change.

Relevant Experience

Ramona has established and led numerous teams responsible for the management of legal matters, regulatory compliance, board relations, governance, corporate secretarial functions, major contracting, risk and compliance. She started her career in legal private practice and specialised in corporate law, contract law, mergers & acquisitions, initial public offerings, corporate governance, financial services regulation and corporate secretarial. Ramona moved in house and specialised in advising financial services companies with a technology focus specializing in payments, funds management, wealth, superannuation and insurance. Ramona is passionate about process improvement and transformation of the second line and empowerment of the first line so they work in synergy. Currently leading transformation programs in risk and compliance teams to bring about sustainable change in service delivery.

  • Bachelor of Computing Science, University of Technology Sydney
  • Admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of NSW | May 2001
  • Unrestricted Practising Certificate, Certified as Principal of an ILP
